Description:  In this workshop, participants will learn how neuroscience is overflowing with fresh insights and valuable information on educating new brains from birth to five years of age.  They will understand how these brains have very emotional, nutritional and intellectual needs.  When these needs are not met, participants will learn the highly targeted interventions for the predictable consequences that occur.

Kindergarten Readiness

The Kindergarten Readiness Committee is the CCIU Early Childhood Council.   We meet regularly to ensure a smooth transition for students from preschool to Kindergarten.

Overview
The council was formed to serve as a networking effort to address early
childhood issues, concerns, and staff development in Chester County. The
focus of the council has been on successful kindergarten transition. We would
like to have each school district represented by administrators and early
childhood teachers. Preschool, Head Start, and other early care education
providers are asked to send representatives. Your organization may send
additional interested staff.
Who: School District Administrators, Kindergarten Teachers, Child Care Directors, Early Education teachers, Head Start

Credit Act 48, DPW hours, and Keystone STARS are provided
Registration Online registration is requested for each council meeting.

Development.
2. Next, click on View All, and enter Early Childhood Council in
the Search Term box.
3. Scroll down and click on the blue underlined title of the course
and then “Click to Enroll,” and follow the prompts.
